Richard joined our technology team in October 2007 as an analyst. He specialises in software companies. Richard has a generalist background having researched global financial markets and companies for over 20 years, largely for newspapers. His employment history includes the Financial Times, a greenfield pan-European independent research company in the early 1990s and a trading floor role in the late 1980s. He has built customised models for valuing companies and has a strong interest in the technology sector.
Richard holds the ASIP designation having been a member of the CFA Society of the UK and its predecessors since 1990.
Richard, originally from New Zealand, enjoys playing squash, gym and cycling.
