Scott is a founding director of Edison. He has vast experience in the European Telecoms industry. From 1988 to 1996, he held a variety of engineering and marketing positions in the telecom industry with Telstra and Ericsson in Australia, the US and Belgium. After completing an MBA at Oxford University in 1997, he spent several years as a strategy consultant with Arthur D. Little before joining Enskilda Securities where he set up the London telecom equity research team and was part of the Orange flotation. After a spell as a Senior Telecoms Analyst at Societe Generale he returned to the industry as Chief Strategy Officer for the international mobile business of the Dutch telecom operator Royal KPN.

Scott has a passion for golf, especially on the links of his native Scotland and is also a Francophile.
