Accelerated Growth Strategy These were Accuma’s first full year results since its March 2005 AIM admission. The IPO raised £4.1m to finance an accelerated growth strategy, which is reflected in these results. Turnover rose 191%, but higher marketing spend and staff numbers (up 250%) squeezed gross margins (from 35.7% to 22.6%) and a 73% increase in administrative expenses (to £1.1m, due to higher activity levels) resulted in a £0.47m pre-tax loss.
