Launch of CitronGo! Globo has successfully built a €20m run-rate software and services business in the public and corporate sector in Greece and the Balkan countries. It has also successfully leveraged its intellectual property to deliver SaaS services to SMEs. This week it announced the launch of CitronGo!, further developing its software, offering ‘push’ email, calendar, documents etc onto mobile phones. Globo appears to have a fairly immediate opportunity among its current customer base, but the medium-term opportunity hinges upon deals with the regional mobile operators. Business model delivery Globo is benefiting from exposure to stronger public and corporate sector demand in Greece and the Balkan countries and a business model based around 80% higher-margin, own-developed software products and an SME-focused SaaS platform.
