Delayed reaction First half figures for the six months to December 2005 have come in pretty much as expected at breakeven. However, contract delays (not cancellations) in the early weeks of the second half have led us to pull back our full-year profit forecast by just over 50%. We have made precautionary adjustments to our figures for June 2007, lowering our profit forecast by 47% and delaying the introduction of a dividend for a year. Image enhancement The AGM confirms the progress being made by the company. Our aggregate forecasts are unchanged but we are altering the mix to reflect impressive business wins in the Solutions companies compensating for slower growth from Hosting. Contract timing will push the bulk of the growth into H2. The group now has a clearer and more coherent strategy which we fully expect to add value to the individual elements. Proven strategy Preliminary results released today are broadly in line with market expectations, with the company now firmly positioned in profitable growth territory. Management’s restructuring of the company has given it an attractive combination of steady contributors and fast-growing activities.
