Expectations met Teesland FY06 results were marginally ahead of our forecasts, with EPS (excluding the Darien transaction) rising 63% year-on-year to 6.07p versus our estimate of 6.00p, marking the first full year contribution from the PFM acquisition. FY06 is also the first full year of IFRS based reporting; the restatement of 2005 has led to a reduction in EPS. We are currently reviewing our forecasts. Research type: Update - Full year results |

Firm on profits Following half year results (to end December 2005) we have increased our 2006 forecast to reflect better than expected income from associates/joint ventures and higher returns from investments. We have raised 2006 forecast EPS by 5% to 6.0p (previously 5.7p once we made IFRS adjustments to our UK GAAP forecast of 6.4p) and pre-tax profits by 11% to £10.8m (£9.7m). Management is targeting £3bn under management by the year end (vs end December‘s £2.6bn). We expect 2006 to be a strong year in the UK, and in Europe, anticipate growth from 2006. Strategic emphasis is now firmly on growth in European markets. Research type: Interim review |
