Investment summary
Much of Simba's current activity is focused on Kenya Block 2A. Reprocessing of select 2D seismic lines has helped identify two early exploration leads that we expect to go into both an upcoming technical report and CPR. Meanwhile, a passive seismic survey anticipated to begin in early May will help evaluate other assets in the region with results due in early July. Finding a partner or funding within a year will be vital for Simba to carry its projects through to exploration. Meanwhile a recent $4.2m private placing will cover immediate funding needs until a drill programme is firmed up.

Industry outlook
Simba operates in countries with limited or no exploration activity, but building a portfolio of assets mitigates risk and enhances the company’s ability to attract partners. The company also recently started trading on OTCQX International, the premier tier of the US OTC market, in order to improve its access to investors.
